In today’s video, I discuss the history and evolution of the Grinch, along with his many television specials and adaptations. These include How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (1966), Halloween Is Grinch Night (1977), The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat (1982), Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (2000), and The Grinch (2018). I also delve into the contributions of the legendary animator Chuck Jones, who was the main guy behind the specials creation, alongside Dr. Seuss of course. Oh, and of course, I discuss the iconic song, “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” particularly the original Thurl Ravenscroft’s version, which is the best version.
