A challenge is something that all players going into a FromSoftware game are seeking, and Deep of Night is aiming to reignite this fire among players.

“Deep of Night” is a high-difficulty challenge mode designed for seasoned players who have navigated through the Night many times.

“Deep of Night” is a high-difficulty challenge mode for Elden Ring: Nightreign, the roguelike multiplayer spin-off of Elden Ring. It is designed for experienced players seeking a far tougher challenge than the base game’s expeditions. This mode adds significant modifiers that increase the difficulty and unpredictability of every run.

This upcoming hard mode from the developer and publisher is an expedition.
“Deep of Night’ is a high-difficulty mode that provides a thrilling and challenging adventure,” says Bandai Namco in an official announcement.

What to Expect From Deep of Night
Five “Depths” that escalate in difficulty level.
Depths 4 and 5 are teased to be the most challenging.
The key aspect that makes this mode so difficult is that it makes it impossible for one to prepare accordingly. Deep of Night takes away a player’s ability to craft a proper build to take on a specific Nightlord, so this mode is definitely not for the faint of heart.
