From climbing up 21 places in the Top100DJs poll to #51, including placing at #12 in the female only DJane poll to scooping the award for ‘Best Belgian Act’ at the 2019 MTV EMA’s, 2019 was a year of astounding achievements for Belgium born MATTN. With her sights set on making the most of this recent run of form, MATTN is kicking off the New Year with a very special dance version of one of her musical idols most iconic hits ‘Girlz wanna have fun’.

In collaboration with Stavros Martina and Kevin D this new Girlz wanna have fun’ rework is in part a celebration of all that is glorious about the modern era of dance culture and the bridges of diversity that continue to reach further and further around the world and music scene at large. Summoning summer feelings and vibrant memories of happy festival clubbing days, the trio want to bring a splash of colour and joy to the dancefloor.

Given its world premiere during MATTN’s mainstage set at Tomorrowland Winter and beamed live to the global via the festival’s universally watched satellite broadcast, ‘Girlz wanna have fun’ draw much praise from music fans and created more than a micro-buzz of its own across the social-spere!
