As NATO forces expand their proxy war against Russia in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Turkish colleague Mevlüt avuşolu in Ankara on Wednesday.

Both Lavrov and Avuşolu advocated for the establishment of a "secure grain corridor" from Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea to Turkish straits. According to AP, the NATO-backed Ukrainian government rejected the idea, calling it untrustworthy.

The Turkish and Russian foreign ministers also discussed restarting peace talks between Kiev and Moscow, which had been suspended due to pressure from key NATO states.

Both proposals are incompatible with the US-led NATO goal to inflame the conflict in order to bring about regime change in Russia and, eventually, accomplish imperialist partition and pillage of this large country's resources.
