Three people have died, and 12 others were injured after a tornado ripped through Union City, Michigan, authorities at the Branch County Sheriff’s Office say.

At least two tornadoes were reported in Southwest Michigan on Friday amid severe weather, according to CBS Detroit’s Chief Meteorologist Ahmad Bajjey.
